Furniture Carpenter Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Furniture Carpenter to design, build, repair, and install high-quality wooden furniture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in crafting items such as tables, chairs, cabinets, wardrobes, and custom pieces according to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
- Build and install furniture such as cabinets, wardrobes, doors, and custom pieces
- Interpret design drawings, blueprints, or client specifications
- Repair and refurbish damaged furniture
- Ensure smooth finishing, polishing, and detailing of products
- Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Select appropriate materials based on durability and design needs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:





- Proven experience as a carpenter, especially in furniture making
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
- Attention to detail and craftsmanship quality
- Physical stamina and good hand-eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

- Formal training or certification in carpentry
- Experience in custom furniture or modular furniture work
- Basic understanding of finishing techniques like polishing, laminating, or veneering

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
