Software Integration Engineer – AUTOSAR Classic Diagnostics

Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for DEXT Integration, Software configuration and development of Diagnostics Stack for a AUTOSAR Classic ECU.
- Perform Diagnostic Extract (DEXT) Integration using DaVinci Tool Chain.
- Configure DoIP, Dcm, Dem and FiM modules using DaVinci Configurator based on SW requirements.
- Integrate Diagnostic SWCs using DaVinci Developer.
- Execute Diagnostics smoke-tests and regression tests.
- Integrate AUTOSAR Application Software (ASW) components onto the configured Base Software (BSW) platform using the Vector toolchain and established automation workflows.
- Integrate application software modules while ensuring adherence to project processes, coding guidelines, quality standards, and compliance.
- Perform software integration, build generation, and validation to ensure successful deployment on target hardware.

Verify that integrated software functions as expected and ensure no regression or unintended behaviour is introduced after integration.

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software integration, configuration, and build issues by collaborating with development and platform teams.

- Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts to improve integration efficiency, build reliability, and overall productivity.

- Perform root cause analysis for integration failures and drive timely issue resolution. Execute basic functional validation, sanity testing, and regression testing after each software integration cycle.

- Document integration activities, test results, identified defects, and lessons learned, and provide actionable feedback to development teams.

- Support release management by preparing software integration packages and ensuring configuration consistency across releases.

- Participate in defect triage, technical discussions,



and integration planning with crossfunctional teams.

- Collaborate effectively with teams across geographies in MB, and external suppliers to ensure seamless software integration and delivery.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing integration processes, automation frameworks, and development workflows.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong expertise in AUTOSAR architecture, Application Software (ASW), Runtime Environment (RTE), Operating System (OS) and other BSW modules.

- Hands-on experience with software integration, configuration management, and embedded software build environments.

- Strong knowledge of software configuration, debugging, and issue analysis in embedded automotive systems.

- Good understanding of CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, and automotive communication protocols.

- Experience with software validation, regression testing, and integration verification.

- Solid scripting skills for automation and tooling.

- Proficient with version control system like Git.

Qualifications:

- B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Degree.
- 5-6 years of experience of Software Development for AUTOSAR Classic Diagnostics and Error-Management using Vector Tools (DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer)
- Mandatory experience with AUTOSAR Classic and Automotive SW development for multi-core.
- Mandatory experience with microcontroller from Infineon/Renesas.
- Mandatory knowledge about DoIP, Ethernet Communication, Dcm and Dem.
- Mandatory to have experience with Vector DaVinci Tools, Vector CANoe, Vector CANoe Diva and Vector vTestStudio
- Good competency with Git version control.
- Strong Problem-Solving and Debugging Skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
