Experience Level – Minimum 4-5 yrs of post qualification experience of working in the income tax domain

Job Description-

1. Litigation including preparation of submissions and representation before CIT appeal, briefed counsels independently in the past.
2. Independently handling and closure of scrutiny assessment proceedings (faceless as well as physical). Good Interpersonal skills.
3. Corporate income tax advisory with experience in searching relevant case laws using tax databases. Also,



having dealt with withholding advisory while making foreign payments. Reading and interpretation of treaties alongside provisions of the Income Tax Act including current MLI provisions.
4. Well versed with compliance related procedures including OGE, rectifications, 197 certificate, 281 certificates, etc.
5. Any experience in M&A; tax advisory/ aware of other ancillary Acts like black money, benami act, prevention of money laundering provisions.
