Job Title: CBSE High School Physics Associate Teacher

Narayana Etechno school, Vellore

Job Summary

The CBSE High School Physics Associate Teacher supports the teaching and learning of Physics for students in Grades VI - X. The teacher is responsible for delivering engaging lessons, conducting laboratory activities, assessing student progress, and fostering scientific thinking in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver Physics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and presentations.
- Conduct practical experiments and ensure safe laboratory practices.
- Assess student performance through class tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom instruction.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to improve curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.





Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Master's degree in Physics is preferred.
- CTET/TET qualification is an added advantage (where applicable).

Experience

- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
- Freshers with robust subject knowledge and excellent communication skills may also apply.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of CBSE Physics curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and smart classroom technologies.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Competencies

- Experience with activity-based and experiential learning.
- Ability to prepare students for Olympiads and science exhibitions.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020 guidelines and competency-based education.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
