Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and smooth operation of all facility infrastructure and technical systems within our Testing & Analytical Laboratory.

The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations by maintaining critical utility systems, managing preventive maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems, utilities, HVAC, and facility management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain 11/.415 KV substations and related electrical infrastructure
- Operate, troubleshoot, and service HT & LT circuit breakers
- Supervise transformer maintenance and servicing activities
- Handle diesel generator (DG) operations and preventive maintenance
- Maintain electrical cabling, wiring, and power distribution systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Ensure proper functioning of firefighting systems and fire safety equipment
- Read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical control circuit diagrams




- Prepare and review facility layouts and equipment installation plans
- Monitor and maintain HVAC and AC systems to ensure laboratory temperature and humidity standards
- Supervise general facility maintenance including plumbing, civil work, carpentry, and utility upkeep
- Coordinate new department setups and equipment installations with minimal operational downtime
- Work with compressed air systems, water treatment systems, and gas bank setups (preferred)
- Coordinate with vendors and manage AMC contracts and maintenance records
- Lead maintenance teams and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns

Qualifications

- B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facility Management
- Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or analytical laboratory environments preferred
