To support this growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Executive to manage credit operations, client relationships, and financial transactions.

Role Purpose

The Credit Executive will be responsible for managing client credit, ensuring timely collections, maintaining financial records, and supporting sales operations through effective credit control. The role requires strong financial understanding, coordination skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

1. Credit Management & Collections

- Monitor customer credit limits and ensure adherence to credit policies
- Follow up with clients for timely payments and collections
- Maintain accurate records of outstanding receivables and aging reports

2. Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Address client queries related to invoices, payments, and credit terms
- Ensure smooth communication between clients and internal teams

3. Financial Transactions & Reporting

- Manage financial transactions using Tally and related tools
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, payments, and agreements
- Prepare credit reports, MIS, and reconciliation statements

4. Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Maintain accurate and updated records for all transactions
- Support audits and documentation requirements

5. Coordination & Support

- Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams




- Support deal closures by ensuring proper credit approvals
- Assist in improving credit processes and reducing risk

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated against, but not limited to, the following metrics:

- Collection efficiency and reduction in outstanding dues
- Accuracy in financial records and reporting
- Adherence to credit policies and compliance
- Client satisfaction and query resolution
- Timeliness of reconciliations and documentation

Required Competencies

- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of credit control and financial processes
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a Credit Executive or similar role
- Experience in distribution or trading industry is preferred
- Knowledge of financial tools and accounting systems

- Experience in credit control and collections
- Strong client handling and coordination skills
- Knowledge of invoicing, receivables, and reconciliation
- Proactive approach with robust ownership mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
