Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of motors, panels, transformers, cabling, and control circuits across paddy cleaning, husking, whitening, grading, and packing lines.
- Attend to electrical breakdowns on priority to minimize production downtime, logging root cause and corrective action.
- Maintain and service LT panels, DBs, starters, VFDs, capacitor banks, and DG set electrical systems.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with Grade C license scope and Tamil Nadu Electrical Inspectorate norms.
- Maintain statutory records: license renewal, earthing test reports, insulation resistance test logs, and inspection certificates.
- Follow PPE and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) safety procedures during all electrical work.
- Coordinate with TANGEDCO/EB and licensed electrical contractors for external inspections and load requirements.




- Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules across all 8 milling units; maintain equipment history logs.
- Maintain electrical spares stock (cables, MCBs, OLRs, contactors, relays, fuses) with a bin card/register system; raise indents proactively to avoid stock-outs.
- Monitor power factor, load patterns, and energy consumption; recommend efficiency measures.
- Guide and supervise helper/trainee electricians; liaise with external vendors for major repairs or installations.
- Submit daily/weekly maintenance and breakdown reports to the Maintenance Head.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
