Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive with a background in Mechanical Engineering to manage sourcing and procurement of materials for furniture production. The role requires strong vendor coordination, cost optimization, and a good understanding of materials—especially wood and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, including wood, hardware, and consumables used in furniture manufacturing
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines to ensure cost efficiency
- Coordinate with production, design, and operations teams to understand material requirements and timelines
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials to avoid production delays
- Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts
- Track shipments and manage logistics coordination for timely delivery
- Ensure quality compliance of procured materials as per company standards
- Develop alternate vendor sources to reduce dependency and risk





Key Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in furniture/interiors/manufacturing industry
- Basic understanding of furniture materials, especially wood (types, quality, usage) will be an added advantage
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (if any)
- Solid coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Profile:

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
