Job Overview:
The Executive – Purchase will be responsible for handling corporate purchase activities. The role involves coordinating with site teams, sourcing construction materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to respective project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchase for construction materials
- Coordinate with site teams to understand material requirements
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors
- Ensure timely procurement and dispatch of materials to sites
- Conduct rate comparisons and cost analysis for purchase decisions
- Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in purchase planning
- Ensure quality standards and specifications are met
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Bangalore construction materials market, vendors, and pricing trends
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good understanding of construction materials and quality standards
- Cost control and budget management abilities
- Experience in rate analysis and purchase planning
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Eligibility Criteria:
Mandatory:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction procurement
- Age: 30 years and above
