We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Superintendent to lead and manage the hospital's nursing services. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, effective nursing administration, staff development, quality compliance, and smooth coordination with clinical and administrative departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise all nursing operations of the hospital.
- Ensure quality patient care and adherence to nursing standards.
- Prepare and monitor nursing duty rosters and manpower allocation.
- Supervise Nursing Supervisors, Staff Nurses, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
- Conduct nursing audits, training programs, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with doctors, administration, and other departments for productive patient care.
- Monitor nursing documentation, medication administration, and patient safety practices.
- Manage nursing inventory, equipment, and consumables.
- Handle patient grievances related to nursing services and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare departmental reports and present updates to hospital management.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)
- Valid Nursing Registration Certificate.
- Minimum 8–10 years of clinical experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills.
