Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate South Indian Commi Chef to join our kitchen team in Banaras. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambhar, chutneys, and other regional specialties.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Assist in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the senior chef about ingredient requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of raw materials.
- Follow recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).




- Support the kitchen team during peak hours and maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience as a South Indian Commi Chef or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to relocate or work in Banaras.

Preferred Skills

- Expertise in preparing dosa batter and traditional chutneys.
- Basic inventory management knowledge.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
