About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our accounts and documentation team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Tally, robust Excel skills, and prior exposure to the diamond industry's billing and export documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Accurate daily accounting data entry in Tally (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries)

· Prepare and process billing/invoicing, including GST-compliant tax invoices

· Handle export documentation — invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and related paperwork

· Maintain and reconcile ledgers, outstanding (receivables/payables) statements, and bank entries

· Coordinate with banks, customs/CHA, and internal teams for documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 1–3 years of accounts / data entry experience,



preferably in the diamond or gems & jewellery trade

· Working knowledge of Tally is a must (Tally Prime / ERP 9)

· Solid command of MS Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleaning)

· Understanding of billing, invoicing, and export/import documentation

· Familiarity with GST and basic statutory compliance

· Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

· Commerce background (B.Com / M.Com or equivalent)

Preferred

· Prior experience in a diamond manufacturing or export company

· Good communication and coordination skills
