Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, or any Commerce-related field with an Accounts specialization)
Job Summary
Catalyst Education is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the organization's day-to-day financial activities. The ideal candidate should have robust accounting knowledge, experience with accounting software, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare and manage invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash books.
Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance (if applicable).
Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and vendors when required.
Support the Finance team in budgeting and financial planning.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com or any Commerce-related qualification with Accounts).
1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Experience with Tally ERP and MS Excel is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience and skills).
