Designation: Senior Associate – Risk & Policy (LAP)
Band: Band 3

Reporting To: Lead – Risk & Policy (SME & CIF)
Location: Corporate Office, New Delhi

Role Purpose

To drive policy formulation, risk management, and portfolio governance for the Loan Against Property (LAP) business, ensuring profitable growth while maintaining portfolio quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, review, and implement LAP credit policies and process enhancements.
- Manage collateral and property funding policies, risk controls, and approval matrices.
- Develop policy frameworks for new products, programs, and partnerships.
- Monitor portfolio trends, sourcing quality, deviations, and underwriting performance to refine risk policies.
- Collaborate with Business, Credit, Operations, Product, Compliance, and Risk teams to strengthen underwriting and decision-making frameworks.
- Track industry trends, competitive practices, and regulatory developments to enhance policy effectiveness.




- Support digital lending initiatives and provide policy guidance across stakeholders.
- Drive risk-calibrated growth initiatives while safeguarding portfolio quality.

Eligibility

Education: MBA / CA / Master's Degree
Experience: 7–10 years in Risk Management/Credit Policy, with mandatory experience in LAP policy and risk management.

Key Skills

- Strong understanding of LAP products, underwriting, collateral assessment, and risk management.
- Experience in credit policy formulation, documentation, and governance.
- Knowledge of NBFC/Banking industry practices and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of data analytics.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and ownership mindset.
