01 ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and agile Video Editor to handle the editing and post-production of video content across multiple formats and platforms. The incumbent will be responsible for editing assigned videos, adding captions, graphics, and motion text, and delivering final outputs that meet platform specifications and institutional quality standards. This role demands the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve same-day turnaround on rapid-response content.

02 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

■ Video Editing & Post-Production

– Edit assigned video content across short-form, long-form, and rapid-response formats.

– Add captions, graphics, motion text, and visual elements as per production briefs.

– Deliver final outputs in platform-specific formats and technical specifications.

■ Multi-Project Management

– Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.

– Maintain an organised production workflow and file management system.

– Communicate project status and flag delivery risks to the Video Lead proactively.

■ Rapid Response

– Achieve same-day or on-demand turnaround for rapid-response video content.

– Adapt to urgent editing briefs and shifting priorities during high-activity periods.

– Maintain readiness for emergency content production outside regular working hours when required.

03 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS





▸ 3 to 7 years of experience in video editing, post-production, or digital media.

▸ Proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).

▸ Experience delivering content across multiple social media and digital platforms.

▸ Ability to work under tight deadlines with consistent quality output.

▸ Experience working with large public-facing or policy-driven institutions and initiatives, with a strong understanding of formal communication protocols and multi-level approval workflows, is strongly preferred

04 PREFERRED SKILLS

▸ Experience in news, political, or public communication video production.

▸ Knowledge of motion graphics, colour grading, and audio mixing.

▸ Familiarity with platform-specific video specifications for YouTube, Instagram, Twitter/X, etc.

▸ Familiarity with public-facing institutional communication processes and layered approval mechanisms.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
