Video Editor

Mika Studio is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team. If you're passionate about storytelling, social media content, and creating visually engaging videos, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social platforms.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos, promotional videos, corporate videos, and client projects.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music.
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to produce high-quality content.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Organise project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, AI tools, and social media best practices.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in video editing (Freshers with an exceptional portfolio are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Experience with Photoshop, Canva, and CapCut.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling,



and sound design.
- Knowledge of different video formats and export settings for social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Motion Graphics
- VFX
- Basic Graphic Design
- Photography/Videography
- AI-powered editing tools (Runway, HeyGen, Kling, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of 3D animation or rendering is a plus.
