Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Superintendent to lead and manage the hospital's nursing services. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of patient care, nursing excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective team management.
Experience Required
- 10+ years of overall experience in the Nursing Department.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Nursing Superintendent or in an equivalent nursing leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all nursing services across the hospital.
- Ensure quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and clinical protocols.
- Plan, organize, and monitor nursing staff schedules and manpower.
- Lead recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with doctors, department heads, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor nursing documentation, medication administration,
and patient safety practices.
- Conduct regular audits, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Handle patient complaints related to nursing services and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain adequate nursing supplies and coordinate with relevant departments.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Robust leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Sound knowledge of hospital operations, quality standards, and nursing administration.
