Apollo Hospitals Jabalpur is looking for experienced Radiology Technicians to join our advanced imaging department. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, operating radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain X-ray, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy equipment.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks.
- Assist radiologists in diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
- Process and analyze images for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to NABH and AERB guidelines for radiology safety.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals for accurate patient assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma in Radiology Technology / Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized institution.
- 2-10 years of experience in a hospital radiology department.
- Proficiency in handling digital radiography (DR),
computed tomography (CT), and MRI scanners.
- Robust knowledge of radiation protection guidelines and equipment maintenance.
- Experience in contrast imaging and emergency trauma radiology is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and patient-handling abilities.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIS) and PACS for imaging records.
