We are looking for an experienced Traffic Executive with strong knowledge of the transportation market, local vehicle placement, broker management, and road transport operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in coordinating vehicle availability, negotiating market rates, and ensuring smooth transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Arrange and place local market vehicles (trailers,cranes, tippers, trucks, hydraulic axles, etc.) based on customer requirements.

- Negotiate competitive freight rates with brokers and transport vendors.

- Maintain a solid network of transport brokers, fleet owners, and vehicle suppliers.

- Source vehicles from the local market to meet urgent operational requirements.

- Coordinate with customers, operations teams, drivers, brokers, and vendors for timely vehicle placement.

- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure on-time loading, dispatch, transit, and delivery.

- Handle transportation planning for ODC (Over Dimensional Cargo) and FTL (Full Truck Load) shipments.

- Ensure timely completion of loading and unloading activities by coordinating with site teams.

- Verify transportation documents, including permits, e-way bills, invoices, PODs, gate passes, and other statutory documents.

- Maintain daily records of vehicle placement, freight rates,



broker payments, and operational updates.

- Resolve transportation issues, delays, and vehicle shortages to ensure uninterrupted operations.

- Keep track of market freight trends and provide updates on transportation rates.

Requirements

Graduate in any discipline (Logistics qualification is an added advantage)

✅ 3–8 years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Traffic Operations, or Fleet Coordination

✅ Strong knowledge of market freight rates, local vehicle sourcing, and broker management

✅ Hands-on experience in ODC & FTL transportation operations

✅ Good understanding of trailers, heavy commercial vehicles, route planning, and transportation documentation

✅ Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication skills

✅ Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Transport Management Systems
