ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in the fabrication and manufacturing of Tanks, Silos, and Heavy Steel Structures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in production planning, fabrication processes, quality control, and shop floor management to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing.

Candidates with experience in Heavy Fabrication, Pressure Vessels, Structural Steel, Industrial Equipment, Cement Plants, CBG Plants, and EPC manufacturing will be preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production activities for Tank & Silo manufacturing.
- Prepare production schedules and ensure timely completion of fabrication activities.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Quality, and Project teams for smooth production flow.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and manufacturing drawings accurately.
- Ensure fabrication activities are carried out as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Monitor cutting, rolling, bending, welding, assembly, and finishing processes.
- Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to improve productivity.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Minimize production delays, material wastage, and rework.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, welding standards, and inspection requirements.
- Maintain production records, daily reports, and work progress documentation.




- Implement and monitor safety practices within the production area.
- Coordinate with stores for material availability and inventory planning.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.

REQUIRED SKILL

- Hands-on experience in Tank & Silo fabrication and heavy steel manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, plate rolling, cutting, fit-up, and assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of welding procedures (WPS/PQR), fabrication standards, and quality requirements.
- Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, and shop floor management.
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS

- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Tank, Silo, Heavy Fabrication, Structural Steel, or Manufacturing Industry.
