About the Project

We are seeking an experienced 3D Animator and Motion Graphics Designer to create a premium, 50–60 second 3D explainer video. This video will demonstrate a device's integrated components, its echogenic visualization capabilities, and the procedural walkthrough of the technique when used.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing technical product animation, anatomical modeling, and the ability to seamlessly blend 3D rendering with 2D motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities

- Device Animation & Exploded Views: Model, texture, and animate the Primero Protected Access System components, including the introducer needle (with pink hub), bulb, advancer handpiece, looped storage tube, and nitinol guidewire.
- Anatomical & Procedural Visualization: Create accurate anatomical cross-sections of the neck, highlighting veins and arteries. Animate the needle insertion and guidewire advancement steps.
- Character / Hand Animation: Rig and animate a CG gloved hand model to clearly demonstrate one-hand ergonomics, transitioning smoothly between thumb-advance and two-finger-advance grips.
- Ultrasound Simulation: Design and animate a simulated ultrasound view utilizing authentic aesthetics (grayscale, speckle texture) to highlight the bright echogenic signature of the needle's bulb.
- Motion Graphics & Compositing: Integrate clean on-screen text, pulsing feature callouts,



and specific medical iconography (e.g., Sterile EtO, Single Use, Rx Only).
- Regulatory Compliance: Strictly adhere to production notes regarding FDA guidelines, ensuring no clinical errors are depicted and that all mandatory compliance footers (including the K252441 clearance badge) are legibly integrated into the closing scene.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Expert 3D Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard 3D suites (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya) and render engines (e.g., Redshift, Octane, or Cycles).
- Medical Animation Experience: Proven experience animating medical devices, soft tissue/anatomy, and simulating medical imaging (like ultrasound).
- Hard-Surface & Soft-Body Rigging: Ability to rig mechanical device components, flexible elements (like a nitinol guidewire), and a human hand model for realistic interaction.
- Post-Production Mastery: High-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects for compositing, color grading, and adding sleek 2D UI elements, labels, and icons.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to interpret and faithfully execute a detailed storyboard while respecting strict legal and regulatory visual boundaries.
