Job Title: Solar Site Engineer

Experience: 2–5 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
- Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure timely project execution.
- Review project drawings, layouts, and technical specifications before execution.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project implementation.
- Ensure all work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and electrical codes.
- Monitor installation progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility assessments, and measurements.
- Verify material requirements and coordinate with the procurement team for timely availability.
- Supervise electrical wiring, inverter installation, module mounting structures, earthing, and cable routing.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
- Ensure proper documentation, including inspection reports, work completion reports, and as-built drawings.
- Monitor project timelines and resolve site-related technical issues.




- Train and guide site technicians and subcontractors on installation procedures and safety practices.
- Coordinate with DISCOM/utility authorities for inspections and grid connectivity, where applicable.
- Support project handover and provide post-installation technical assistance.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical installations, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and layout drawings.
- Knowledge of inverter configuration, earthing, and electrical safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.

Qualification

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Renewable Energy.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in solar PV project installation, site execution, and commissioning.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
