Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required for the organization. The role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and timely delivery while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Procurement Planning
- Analyze purchase requirements and forecast demand.
- Coordinate with internal departments for material requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid stock shortages.
- Purchase Order Management
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
- Cost Optimization
- Compare prices and negotiate for best deals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and pricing.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure materials meet required quality standards.
- Follow company procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits.




- Inventory Coordination
- Work closely with inventory/store teams.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points.
- Avoid overstocking or stockouts.

Required Skills:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Vendor management and relationship-building
- Knowledge of procurement processes
- Positive analytical and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP (Zoho, SAP, etc.)

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement/purchase (preferred)

Preferred (for Pharma Export Company like yours):

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials / export documentation
- Experience in vendor sourcing (domestic & international)
- Understanding of compliance and quality standards
