About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Angular Architect to lead the front-end architecture and development of complex, large-scale web applications. This role demands deep technical expertise in Angular, along with strong leadership and decision-making capabilities. As an Angular Architect, you will design scalable UI architecture, define coding standards, and lead the implementation of front-end best practices across projects and teams.

You’ll work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend architects, and development teams to deliver modern, performant, and maintainable solutions. This is a strategic role focused on shaping the frontend roadmap and mentoring teams to drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance front-end applications using Angular (v10+).
- Define and enforce frontend architecture patterns, design principles, and coding standards across teams.
- Collaborate with backend architects to align front-end and API designs.
- Lead and mentor frontend teams in implementing reusable and modular components.
- Evaluate and select frontend technologies, tools,



and frameworks based on project requirements.
- Perform code reviews, architecture reviews, and performance audits.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and UI/UX best practices.
- Optimize web application performance, scalability, and load time.
- Establish best practices for state management, component design, lazy loading, and routing.
- Provide technical leadership and support in Agile/Scrum development cycles.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide strategic inputs on frontend evolution and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

- 12+ years of software development experience with at least 5+ years in Angular (v10 or higher)
- Expert in Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
- Deep understanding of Angular architecture, component lifecycle, dependency injection, and modular design.
- Experience designing frontend architecture for enterprise-level applications.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful API integration, state management (NgRx, Akita), and reactive programming.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Cypress).
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices and frontend build tools (Webpack, Angular CLI).
- Strong experience with Git, version control systems, and code branching strategies.
- Familiarity with UI libraries like Angular Material or PrimeNG.
- Ability to mentor and lead large frontend teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with micro-frontend architecture and modular app development.
- Exposure to DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of security standards for frontend applications (XSS, CSRF, CSP, etc.).
- Experience with accessibility (WCAG compliance) and internationalization (i18n).
- Previous experience with hybrid mobile app development (e.g., Ionic, Capacitor) is a plus.
- Contributions to open-source projects, blogs, or speaking engagements in Angular communities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
