Job Description: The individual will own delivery, manage stakeholders, and actively contribute as a techno-functional problem solver, translating business objectives into scalable technical solutions. In parallel, the role will support internal capability building, GTM enablement, and cross-practice collaboration across EXL’s Analytics, Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Digital Consulting teams.

Responsibilities: Capability Development & Ownership

- Build and mature end-to-end client delivery capabilities spanning data engineering, analytics, BI, AI/ML, and cloud platforms.

- Establish scalable delivery frameworks, governance models, and quality standards to manage scope, milestones, and outcomes across multiple workstreams.

- Define and execute capability roadmap by designing repeatable processes, enabling performance measurement frameworks, and embedding continuous improvement mechanisms to systematically mature organizational delivery capabilities.

Solution & Execution Leadership

- Shape delivery approaches and solution blueprints in partnership with technical and consulting teams.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to client business realities.
- Act as the bridge between business intent and technical execution.

- Drive accountability, performance standards, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder & Program Management

- Serve as the primary client-facing delivery leader.
- Manage governance forums, status reporting, and executive communications.
- Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.

GTM & Internal Enablement

- Support pre-sales, proposals, and solutioning with delivery and execution inputs.




- Contribute to internal playbooks, accelerators, and delivery frameworks.
- Help mature EXL’s delivery excellence and capability depth.

Qualifications: Experience & Background

- 8+ years in delivery leadership roles within analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, cloud, or digital transformation environments.
- Experience working in consulting, analytics services, or technology services firms.
- Track record of leading complex, multi-workstream programs for global clients.

Techno-Functional Foundation

- Solid working knowledge of contemporary data platforms, analytics stacks, and cloud architectures.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into technical/functional specifications.
- Comfort working across use cases such as data modernization, advanced analytics, automation, and personalization.

Delivery & Governance

- Expertise in Agile / Hybrid delivery models and program governance.
- Strong understanding of risk, dependency, and financial management in delivery engagements.

Stakeholder & Consulting Skills

- Executive-level communication and structured problem-solving ability.
- Experience engaging senior client stakeholders on business value and outcomes.

Technical Fluency

- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), and modern data architectures.
- Familiarity with BI, ML pipelines, orchestration, and analytics tooling.

Preferred

- Experience across North America / Europe client environments.
- Exposure to GTM, sales enablement, or internal capability incubation.

- Experience owning delivery financials, resourcing, and margin management.
