Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our FMCG manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery, utilities, and electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted plant operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)1. Preventive Maintenance

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and production machinery.
- Ensure timely inspection and servicing of motors, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and electrical distribution systems.
- Minimize equipment failures through planned maintenance.

2. Breakdown Maintenance

- Attend electrical breakdowns immediately and restore production equipment with minimum downtime.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in machinery and utilities.
- Ensure smooth production operations by reducing machine stoppages.

3. Production Support

- Provide continuous electrical support during production shifts.
- Ensure all production machines remain operational with maximum uptime.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams for quick issue resolution.

4. Utility Maintenance

- Maintain electrical systems of DG Sets, Air Compressors, Transformers, UPS, Chillers, Water Pumps, and other plant utilities.
- Ensure uninterrupted utility operations across the manufacturing facility.

5. Electrical Troubleshooting

- Identify and resolve electrical faults in motors, sensors, relays, contactors, PLCs, VFDs, control panels, and automation systems.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring breakdowns.

6. Installation & Commissioning





- Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and relocation of production machinery and electrical equipment.
- Support recent project implementation and machine modifications.

7. Safety & Compliance

- Follow all electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and statutory compliance.
- Ensure safe maintenance practices while working on energized equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.

8. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain preventive maintenance records, breakdown reports, job cards, and spare consumption records.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports and update maintenance logs accurately.

9. Spare Parts Management

- Monitor inventory of critical electrical spare parts.
- Raise material requisitions for required electrical components.
- Ensure availability of essential spares to avoid production interruptions.

10. Energy Management

- Monitor electricity consumption and identify opportunities to reduce energy usage.
- Recommend energy-saving initiatives and improve equipment efficiency.

11. Continuous Improvement

- Participate in TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives.
- Suggest modifications to improve machine reliability and maintenance efficiency.

12. Housekeeping





- Maintain cleanliness and organization of electrical panels, workshop, and maintenance areas.
- Follow GMP, hygiene, and housekeeping standards applicable to the food manufacturing industry.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, Motors, MCC Panels, Sensors, and Control Circuits.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance expertise.
- Knowledge of DG Sets, Compressors, Transformers, UPS, and Utilities.
- Familiarity with GMP, Food Safety, Electrical Safety, TPM, and 5S.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in an FMCG, Food Processing, Bakery, Dairy, or Beverage Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience handling automated production lines and plant utilities.
- Good communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
