Procurement Engineer (Fabrication)

Job Descriptions:

- Key Responsibilities :

- Source and procure fabrication materials, including manganese and alloy castings.
- Manage supplier sourcing, vendor development, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams for timely procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Desired Qualifications & Skill Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of procurement experience in fabrication or manufacturing.




- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and raw materials (sheet metal, beams, mild steel, castings).
- Experience managing multiple suppliers (20+), vendor development, and negotiations.
- Positive communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/procurement software and Microsoft Office.
- Preferred industry experience: Construction, Heavy Machinery, or Industrial Automation.
