Consultant Pathologist – Job Description (JD)

Position: Consultant Pathologist (parttime)_Morning_4hrs_Physical presence at unit

Locations: Godhra ,Gujarat

Qualification: MD/DNB (Pathology)

Experience: 3–5 years in diagnostic pathology

Notice Period: Immediate/Short

Responsibilities:
Diagnostic reporting, lab supervision, clinical consultation, compliance, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Analysis: Examine tissue samples, cytology specimens, and bodily fluids to identify diseases such as cancer, infections, and immune disorders.
Reporting: Provide detailed diagnostic reports to clinicians for treatment planning and patient management.
Consultation: Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to interpret complex test results and discuss case findings.
Laboratory Oversight: Supervise lab operations, ensuring quality control, compliance with NABL/CAP/ISO standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
Research & Training: Contribute to medical research, stay updated with advancements in pathology, and mentor junior doctors, technicians, and trainees.




Clinical Governance: Ensure compliance with medical standards, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Education: MD (Pathology) / DNB (Pathology).
Certification: Board certification in pathology (where applicable).
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in diagnostic pathology; prior experience in a NABL-accredited lab preferred.
Skills:
o Histopathology, Cytopathology, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular Pathology.
o Solid diagnostic and analytical skills.
o Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
o Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
