**Location:** Pune / Bengaluru / Mumbai / Hyderabad / Noida

**Work Mode:** Hybrid *(Hybrid candidates are required to work from the office 2–3 days per week)*

**Shift Timing:** 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST *(Candidate should be flexible to overlap with the US time zone for up to 2 hours based on project requirements.)*

## Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced **Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer** with 8–12 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in Lakehouse and Warehouse architecture, pipeline orchestration, data integration, and performance optimization while leading customer-facing delivery initiatives.

## Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using **Microsoft Fabric**.

* Define and optimize **data partitioning strategies** for high-performance analytics.

* Make architectural decisions on the effective use of **Lakehouse vs. Warehouse** based on business requirements.

* Design, develop, and manage **Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines** with optimized scheduling and orchestration.

* Monitor and optimize **Capacity Unit (CU) utilization** to ensure efficient resource consumption.

* Develop and maintain complex data ingestion pipelines from **1,000+ source databases** at scheduled intervals.

* Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance data movement across enterprise systems.

* Lead and mentor the data engineering team, providing technical guidance and best practices.





* Collaborate with solution architects and cross-functional teams to support global deployments.

* Participate in customer discussions, gather requirements, and provide technical recommendations.

* Ensure timely delivery of data engineering projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

## Required Skills

* 8–12 years of experience in Data Engineering.

* Strong hands-on experience with **Microsoft Fabric**.

* Expertise in **Lakehouse** and **Data Warehouse** architecture and implementation.

* Strong understanding of **data partitioning strategies** and performance optimization.

* Experience in designing and managing complex **Microsoft Fabric Pipelines**.

* Knowledge of **Capacity Unit (CU) management** and workload optimization.

* Experience handling large-scale enterprise data integration involving thousands of source databases.

* Strong SQL and data modeling skills.

* Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

* Experience working with global stakeholders and customer-facing engagements.

* Strong communication and leadership skills.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Azure Data Platform technologies is an added advantage.

* Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud data migration projects.

* Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data certifications are preferred.
