Your work profile

- As a SAP FICO Analyst to support and enhance finance and controlling processes within the Oil & Gas domain. Should have hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration, support, and business process analysis, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
- The role requires strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes, issue resolution, system enhancements, testing, and end-user support in a dynamic enterprise setting.
- Provide functional support for SAP FICO modules, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure and maintain SAP FICO settings to meet business needs.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO production issues within SLA timelines.




- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including MM, SD, PM, and HR modules.
- Participate in system testing, UAT, regression testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.
- Assist in enhancements, upgrades, and SAP transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and organizational policies.
- Support integration scenarios across Finance and Controlling processes

Key skills required

- Should have atleast 2-3 years of Strong experience in SAP FICO
- Strong experience in SAP FICO module support and configuration.
- Hands-on knowledge of: General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Accounting, Profitability Analysis (COPA), Product Costing (preferred)
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is desirable.
- Understanding of integration points between SAP FICO and MM/SD modules.
- Experience with incident management, change requests, and enhancement activities.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- SAP FICO certification preferred.
- Experience in Oil & Gas industry processes will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects is desirable.
- Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) – B.Com ( Finance), B.E/B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech, CA( preferred)
