Asoka World School is looking for an Admissions Counsellor to manage the admissions journey from first enquiry to confirmed enrolment. You will be the first person a family speaks to at the school, and the way you handle that conversation shapes their decision. The role combines counselling, follow-up and record-keeping, and carries enquiry-to-admission conversion targets.

Responsibilities

- Manage all admission enquiries received by telephone, email, walk-in and online form, ensuring prompt and courteous response.

- Counsel prospective parents on the school's academic programme, admission procedures, fee structure and , and advise on appropriate grade placement.

- Conduct campus tours for prospective families.

- Guide applicants through each stage of the admission process, from application and assessment through registration and orientation, including documentation and online form completion.

- Maintain structured follow-up on all open enquiries and drive conversion to confirmed admissions.

- Plan and execute admissions outreach programmes, including preschool engagement, community and residential events, and education fairs.

- Support the school's promotional initiatives, contributing to admission campaigns and the preparation of promotional materials,



and provide feedback from parent interactions to inform them.

- Maintain accurate and current records of enquiries, applications and admissions in the school's management system.

- Process admission documentation and coordinate with the school office for the onboarding of newly admitted students.

Requirements

- Excellent spoken and written English; Malayalam fluency for parent conversations (Hindi is a plus).

- Confident, warm and professional in person and on the phone.

- Persuasion and follow-up discipline: comfortable working to enrolment targets.

- Organised record-keeping; comfortable with MS Office / Google Workspace and admission software.

- School or education-sector experience preferred.
