Summary
UST is looking for an experienced Senior System / Business Analyst (Healthcare) with strong expertise in the Healthcare domain, API integrations, AI/LLM-enabled solutions, and enterprise system analysis. The ideal candidate will possess deep healthcare domain knowledge across Perks, Membership, Provider, and Claims, along with extensive experience in business analysis, system analysis, API specifications, testing, and stakeholder collaboration. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, development teams, architects, and QA teams to deliver enterprise-scale healthcare solutions.
The Opportunity
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Healthcare Business & System Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for enterprise healthcare applications.
- Analyze healthcare business processes, including Benefits, Membership, Provider Management, and Claims.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, system requirements, user stories, and API specifications.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend process and technology improvements.
- Validate functional and technical solutions with business users and cross-functional teams.
API & System Integration
- Analyze API inventories, usage patterns, data volumes, and lifecycle management.
- Define API requirements, interface specifications, and integration documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and validate RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON payloads, and system integrations.
- Support API-driven application architecture and integration initiatives.
AI / Data-Driven Solution Support
- Support AI-enabled and data-driven healthcare transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineering teams to validate AI-powered business solutions.
- Identify automation opportunities and define business requirements for AI/LLM-based capabilities.
- Participate in solution validation and business acceptance of AI-driven features.
Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Drive business requirement documentation, solution reviews, testing support, release planning, and deployment readiness.
- Act as the primary liaison between Business Teams, Product Owners, Developers, QA Teams, and Solution Architects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies,
including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Ensure successful delivery of enterprise healthcare solutions through effective stakeholder communication and coordination.
Technical Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Review solution designs and promote best practices for quality, maintainability, and system performance.
- Mentor junior analysts and team members by providing technical and functional guidance.
- Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across project teams.
What You Need
Required Skills
Healthcare & Business Analysis
- Strong knowledge of the Healthcare domain, including Benefits, Membership, Provider, and Claims.
- Expertise in Business Analysis, System Analysis, Requirement Gathering, and Business Process Modeling.
- Experience creating Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), System Requirement Specifications (SRS), User Stories, and Use Cases.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
API & Integration
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON, and enterprise system integrations.
- Experience creating API specifications and integration documentation.
- Knowledge of API lifecycle management and enterprise integration patterns.
Technical Knowledge
- Working knowledge of Java and/or Python application development.
- Understanding of application architecture and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful Services.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL databases.
Testing & Delivery
- Experience preparing Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases, and Test Data.
- Knowledge of functional testing, system integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience supporting release planning and production deployments.

Desired Skills
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to AI-powered tools and AI/ML integration projects.
- Knowledge of Cucumber BDD and automated testing practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with enterprise solution delivery.
- Understanding of Disaster Recovery validation, Vulnerability Assessments, Security Testing, and Performance Optimization Testing.
- Healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, X12) are an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- 5+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of Healthcare domain experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of Business Analyst/System Analyst experience in enterprise application development.
