Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and customer-centric Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, provide qualified medication counselling, maintain compliance with statutory and company standards, and contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will play a vital role in supporting patient health outcomes while ensuring efficient pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications accurately in accordance with legal, professional, and organisational standards.
- Review prescriptions to ensure clinical appropriateness, verifying dosage, strength, frequency, drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, and other medication-related concerns.
- Provide patients and customers with clear guidance on medication usage, dosage, administration, storage, potential side effects, and adherence to prescribed treatment.
- Promote responsible medication use and educate customers on preventive healthcare, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable pharmacy legislation, State Pharmacy Council regulations, standard operating procedures, and Apollo Pharmacy policies.
- Maintain complete and accurate records relating to prescriptions, billing, controlled medicines, inventory, and statutory documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, manage expiry tracking, and ensure medicines are stored under appropriate conditions.




- Liaise with prescribing physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related queries whenever required.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service by addressing customer enquiries professionally, empathetically, and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready pharmacy environment that complies with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in health awareness campaigns, vaccination programmes, health camps, and other community healthcare initiatives undertaken by Apollo Pharmacy.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and support the achievement of operational and customer service objectives.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognised institution.
- Valid registration with the respective State Pharmacy Council.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to five years of relevant pharmacy experience are welcome to apply.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or organised healthcare environments.
- Exposure to pharmacy management systems, billing software, inventory management, and digital healthcare platforms.
- Experience in customer counselling and medication management will be an added advantage.

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dispensing procedures, and medication safety.
- Sound understanding of pharmacy regulations, professional ethics, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a patient-first approach.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and pharmacy management software.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work effectively in a dynamic retail healthcare environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on business requirements.

Pay: ₹23,500.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
