Job Summary

We are looking for a Java Production Support Engineer with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical skills to maintain the stability and performance of enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, optimize systems, and ensure smooth production operations across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications.

- Monitor system and application health using AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

- Participate in release and change review meetings, contributing to platform stability.

- Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance reliability and reduce manual effort.

- Work with development and infrastructure teams to implement performance improvements.

- Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.

- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for incident resolutions and procedures.

Required Qualifications

- IT Operations: Strong experience in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- SRE Experience: 4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or production support.

- Development: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Observability Tools:



Hands-on experience with AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Cloud Platforms: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Containerization: Skilled in Kubernetes and Docker environments.

- CI/CD: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Java performance tuning and JVM optimization.

- Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Familiarity with shell scripting or Python automation for operational tasks.

- Understanding of ITIL processes and incident/change management best practices.

- Experience with data governance tools or Informatica Cloud (IICS).

- Background in healthcare, pharma, or retail industry environments.
