Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for handling client meetings, understanding customer requirements, developing new business opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with internal teams for the successful execution of projects and services.

Candidates with experience in the Door Automation, Industrial Door, Building Automation, Access Control, or related engineering industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct client meetings and understand customer requirements, project specifications, and technical needs.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, customer visits, networking, and referrals.
- Generate leads and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Prepare and submit technical quotations, commercial proposals, and presentations.
- Provide technical product information and suitable solutions based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the Design, Project, Service, Purchase, and Production teams for project execution.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and sales closures.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to understand project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Service Team for service-related requirements and customer support.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales and project execution process.
- Handle customer queries, complaints,



and technical discussions professionally.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business development objectives.
- Maintain records of client meetings, enquiries, quotations, orders, and sales activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates to management.
- Travel to customer locations and project sites as required.

Required Skills and Experience

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, Project Sales, or Business Development.
- Experience in a project-based and service-based industry.
- Experience in the Door Automation, Industrial Door, Building Automation, Access Control, or related engineering industry will be highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical products and systems.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Good knowledge of client handling, business development, negotiation, and sales coordination.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Robust relationship-building and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and project visits.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM software.

Additional Knowledge

- Knowledge of SS, MS, Aluminium, and other engineering materials will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of import and export materials and processes will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of project execution and service coordination will be preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
