- Understanding of Android UI design principles and best practices.
- Understanding of application development life cycle.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Intermediate skills in Android Studio and SDK tools.
- Experience in developing and publishing Apps on Play Store.
- Experience in working with Rest APIs, Knowledge about Firebase (mandatory) data sources and third party libraries.
- Able to collaborate with rest of engineering team to design and launch recent features.
- Able to test and improve upon existing features.
- Highly desired but not mandatory:
- Experience in Android development in Kotlin
- Knowledge or experience in backend languages such as Python, Java, Javascript
