1- Job Description for Fashion Design Faculty

Job Summary

Qualification: Graduate/Masters in Fashion Design/ Diploma Holder

· Minimum teaching experience of 1- 3 years.

· Hands on teaching experience in Illustration and CAD.

· Should be able to take all the subjects of Fashion Design.

· Plan and deliver in an effective manner in accordance with the curriculum.

· Design course material

· Monitor and maintain student morale and motivation.

· Monitor performance of students and render support as required.

· To Teach fashion Illustration, Fabric Painting and Embroidery, Garment Construction, pattern

Making, drafting, draping, grading, dart manipulation, surface ornamentation, fashion forecasting, sampling, textile science etc.





· Assist with institute promotional activities.

· Should be very good in Drafting, Pattern Making, and Illustration etc...

· Well worse with software s like coral draw, adobe Photoshop etc. , Illustrator and all supporting software

· Should be good at Fashion Designing concepts.

· Should be good in Theoretical and Practical.

· Should be valuable in managing Fashion shows and other events.
