- Negotiating rates with carriers, optimizing shipping routes through logical allocation, and coordinating with partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Analyzing transportation costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing process improvements to reduce overall expenses.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics, such as delivery times, shipping costs, returns etc.
- Developing new partners & maintaining relationships with existing logistics partners.
- Addressing logistics issues, such as delays, damages, theft or incorrect shipments, and collaborating with relevant parties to resolve them.
- Utilizing and implementing technology to optimize logistics processes.
- Working with other departments, such as marketing, and customer service, to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
