Perform manual insertion and basic hand-soldering of through-hole and discrete components to meet production and quality targets.
Requirements
- High school / ITI or equivalent; 0–2 years in electronics assembly preferred.
- Basic hand-soldering skills and positive manual dexterity.
- Ability to read PCB drawings and follow SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders, BOMs, and assembly drawings to identify component placement.
- Manually insert through-hole and axial/radial components, ensure correct orientation and polarity.
- Perform hand soldering (THT) and basic SMT rework using soldering iron and soldering tools.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic AOI checks; report defects and nonconformances.
- Maintain ESD control, clean work area, and record production metrics.
