Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Linux AV Endpoint team, responsible for the development, optimization, and long-term stability of our core endpoint modules. This role requires expertise in system-level programming, solid ownership of critical components, and the ability to drive performance, scalability, and reliability improvements across platforms.

You will work on high-performance,



security-critical code paths that run on millions of endpoints and directly impact product quality and customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

(The key tasks and duties you will be expected to perform in this role.)

- Own end-to-end development of endpoint components (websecurity, real time protection, device control etc) and new features in Linux endpoint.

- Drive performance optimization initiatives to improve CPU, memory, and I/O overhead

- Debug complex issues including deadlocks, race conditions, crashes, and memory leaks

- Lead root cause analysis for customer escalations and production issues

- Collaborate with QA, threat research, driver, and platform teams to deliver high-quality releases

- Review code, enforce secure coding and performance best practices, and mentor senior engineers

Ensure backward compatibility and stability in legacy and evolving codebases

Must Have Skills
(The essential skills and expertise required to succeed in this role.)

Strong hands-on expertise in C / C++

- Deep understanding of OS internals, especially Linux (file system, kernel/user mode interaction, process/thread management)

- Strong experience in multi-threaded

- Advanced debugging skills using GDB, strace, crash dumps, and logs

Experience working with large, complex, and legacy codebases

Nice / Good to have skills

(Additional skills that are not mandatory but give you an added advantage in this role.)

- Cross-platform development experience (Windows/Linux/macOS)

- Proven experience in Make file, Git and Bitbucket
