About the Role
Indus International Community School is seeking a skilled and experienced Communication Skills Trainer to support students in developing proficiency and confidence in English as a second language. The role focuses on spoken English, listening skills, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and functional communication for academic and social settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English as a Second Language (ESL) across all the grades.
- Design engaging lessons focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Support students with pronunciation, fluency, and everyday communication
- Adapt teaching strategies for students with varying proficiency levels
- Create a supportive, interactive classroom workplace
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with teachers and school counsellors where required
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication with the school

Mandatory Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in English / Education / Linguistics / Communication or a related field
- Formal certification in ESL / TESOL / TEFL / CELTA (mandatory)
- Strong command of spoken and written English

Required Experience





- Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching English as a second language
- Prior experience working with school-age students (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to handle mixed-ability classrooms

- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to engage students who lack confidence in English
- Patient, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach
- Professional conduct and reliability
- Willingness to adapt teaching methods to student needs

Required Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching English as a second language
- Prior experience working with school-age students (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to handle mixed-ability classrooms

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

- Exposure to phonics-based instruction or spoken English programmes
- Experience preparing students for presentations, discussions, or interviews
