Office Accountant Roles and Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software or ledgers.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Process employee payroll and statutory deductions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain petty cash records.
- Calculate and file taxes, GST/VAT, TDS, or other applicable statutory returns.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Track business expenses and verify bills and receipts.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and auditors regarding financial matters.
- Maintain inventory and fixed asset records,



where applicable.
- Assist management by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
- Keep confidential financial information secure.
- Perform general administrative and office support duties related to finance.

Key Skills Required

- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally).
- Robust Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
