As we scale nationally, we're looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Production Planning Manager to lead our end-to-end manufacturing operations and build a world-class supply chain.

Role Overview

The Supply Chain & Production Planning Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production while ensuring uninterrupted supply, efficient inventory management, and on-time customer fulfillment. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with procurement, quality, warehouse, sales, and finance teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Scheduling

- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer demand.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and production capacity.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Minimize production downtime and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Supply Chain Management

- Plan procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor supplier performance and improve procurement efficiency.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

- Oversee raw material, packaging material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.




- Conduct inventory reconciliation and periodic stock audits.
- Reduce wastage and inventory holding costs.

Demand Planning

- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to forecast demand.
- Translate demand forecasts into executable production plans.
- Ensure product availability across all sales channels.

Production Operations

- Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Track production KPIs and identify bottlenecks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Logistics & Order Fulfillment

- Coordinate dispatch planning with warehouse and logistics partners.
- Ensure timely deliveries to distributors, retailers, quick-commerce platforms, and institutional customers.
- Improve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance.

Compliance & Quality

- Ensure adherence to FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality team for production compliance.
- Maintain production documentation and batch records.

Process Improvement

- Develop and implement SOPs for supply chain and production processes.
- Improve planning accuracy, inventory turns, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Drive automation and ERP adoption across operations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain is preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.

Pay: ₹25,581.42 - ₹35,000.00 per month
