About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lab Technician – Biochemistry to join our Bangalore laboratory. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in clinical biochemistry, strong technical expertise with automated analyzers, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely reporting while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform and supervise routine and specialized Biochemistry testing using automated analyzers.
- Ensure timely sample processing and accurate reporting while consistently achieving Turnaround Time (TAT) targets.
- Review test results, identify discrepancies, and escalate critical values whenever required.
- Perform IQC, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of biochemistry analyzers.
- Ensure compliance with NABL standards, laboratory SOPs, biosafety protocols, and quality management systems.
- Maintain reagent inventory, equipment logs, quality records, and laboratory documentation.




- Train and mentor junior laboratory technicians on testing procedures, analyzer operations, and quality practices.
- Coordinate with Pathologists, Shift Leads, and Operations teams to ensure smooth laboratory workflow and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

- DMLT, BMLT, MMLT, B.Sc. MLT, M.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology, M.Sc. Biochemistry, or an equivalent qualification in Life Sciences.
- 8–10 years of experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory with significant exposure to Clinical Biochemistry.
- Hands-on experience with automated biochemistry analyzers such as Beckman Coulter, Roche, Abbott, Siemens, Mindray, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong understanding of IQC, calibration, quality assurance, NABL standards, and laboratory best practices.
- Valuable analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts based on business requirements.
