Position Overview:

Pollocks School is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to spark curiosity and inspire a love for science in our students. This role provides an exciting opportunity to nurture critical thinking, foster inquiry-based learning, and prepare students to explore the wonders of the natural and physical world.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the school curriculum.

- Conduct hands-on experiments and demonstrations to bring scientific concepts to life.

- Encourage inquiry-based learning and critical thinking skills.

- Evaluate and track student progress through regular assessments and feedback.

- Maintain a safe and organized science laboratory environment.

- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary teaching approaches.

- Participate in school activities, workshops, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications:





- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Education with a focus on Science (teaching certifications preferred).

- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Science, preferably at the school level.

- Strong understanding of scientific concepts across biology, chemistry, and physics.

- Proficiency in conducting experiments and using lab equipment safely.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
