Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain business continuity and system reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of system updates and enhancements to improve performance and stability.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.





Professional & Technical Skills:

- Resource must have exposure to Business Object Migration or upgrade Projects
- Positive to have exposure to Business Object Admin Activity which includes Security setup, Object Migration, trouble shootings
- Resource must have exposure to Web Intelligence and Analysis for Office Reporting for tool for supporting with Migrations, remediations
- Resource must have exposure to SAP BOBJ 4.1 or higher level
- Resource who can work on different levels of testing, system validation, cutover management.
- Resource must have basic knowledge of SAP Analytics Reporting
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve software issues effectively.
- Experience with monitoring and maintaining business intelligence platforms to ensure optimal performance.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with database concepts and query languages to support data-related troubleshooting.
- Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
