We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems and Reliability Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support product development through system engineering practices, reliability engineering, engineering documentation and certification support. The role will focus on implementing valuable practices related to system engineering and technical documentation, supporting certification processes and contributing to system reliability estimation and enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Documentation
- - Develop documentation templates as per system engineering practices as well as certification requirements and assist the project team in maintenance of these documents.
- Maintain traceability between system requirements, design documentation, and verification artifacts, based on inputs received from design teams.
2. Certification & Compliance
- - Work with engineering teams to gather data required for certification compliance submissions.
- Liaise with certification agency to align with certification standards/ requirements and obtain necessary clearances.
3. Equipment Qualification
- - Develop and maintain equipment test plans and procedures, including ATP/QTP (Acceptance/Qualification Test Plans).
4. Risk Management and Reliability Engineering
- - Support system reliability and criticality studies such as FMEA/ FMECA/ STPA. Document reliability analyses and test results.
- Interface with design teams to document and follow up on System Hazard Analyses and Risk Register
- Assist in identifying design improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- - Work closely with design, systems, and quality teams to gather inputs for documentation and testing.
- Coordinate with program teams to ensure documentation and certification milestones are met.
- Support internal design and verification reviews.
Required Qualifications
- - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Systems Engineering or related field.
Experience
- - 4–5 years of experience in equipment qualification testing including EMI/EMC, reliability analysis
- Experience in implementing system engineering in an aircraft development program and creating technical documentation.
- Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts and reliability predictions.
- Strong written communication and analytical skills
- Strong cross functional skills.
Preferred
- - Experience supporting product certification or regulatory documentation
- Familiarity with certification standards
- Familiarity with MBSE, Rational DOORS, System Composer and other System engineering tools
