About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who can bridge business needs with technical execution. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, analyze data, and translate business logic into clear, actionable technical documentation. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality data flows across systems through precise mappings, validations, and continuous collaboration with SMEs and engineering teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements and convert them into data and functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed source-to-target mappings (STM), transformation logic, and business rules.
- Perform data profiling, validation,



and gap analysis across multiple systems.
- Translate business logic into technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Work with SMEs to ensure accurate interpretation of domain-specific requirements.
- Support QA teams during testing cycles by validating data transformations and resolving issues.
- Communicate insights, findings, and data-related updates to business and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with BI and engineering teams for dashboarding, automation, and reporting needs.

What To Bring

- 5–9 years of solid experience as a Data Analyst working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into transparent functional and technical specifications.
- Expertise in data mapping, source-to-target mapping (STM), and defining transformation logic.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying, validation, and data-quality checks.
- Hands-on experience in data profiling, gap analysis, and data validation.
- Working knowledge of Python for automation and analysis (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with SMEs, engineering, and business stakeholders.
