Soham Dave is an Ahmedabad-based design studio creating thoughtfully crafted clothing rooted in natural textiles, indigenous craftsmanship and timeless design.
Our work is presented through our flagship stores in Ahmedabad, Kala Ghoda (Mumbai) and Khan Market (New Delhi), selected multi-designer stores across India, and our online store. We collaborate with artisan communities across the country, developing textiles through hand weaving, hand dyeing, resist printing and other traditional techniques to create contemporary clothing for everyday wear.

The Role
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented and technically strong Fashion Merchandiser to work closely with the founder in developing products from concept to production.
This is a product development role that combines technical understanding, sampling, garment development and close coordination across teams to ensure every product is executed with consistency and attention to detail.
Over time, the role offers the opportunity to contribute creatively towards product development and capsule collections within the brand's design language.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate product development from concept through production
- Develop and coordinate samples through multiple rounds of fittings
- Prepare detailed tech packs and technical specifications
- Refine garment fit, construction and finishing
- Process and coordinate customised store and online orders from confirmation through delivery
- Maintain design documentation and product records
- Coordinate with production and internal teams to ensure quality and design consistency
- Contribute ideas towards product development and design refinement
What we’re looking for
- 3-4 years of experience in Fashion Merchandising or Product Development
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit and pattern interpretation
- Experience in sampling and preparing tech packs
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
