Job description:
TSE-Water Business is seeking a energetic Assistant Project Manager - STP, ETP, ZLD to spearhead our ongoing Water & Wastewater EPC projects in Jharkhand. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical mastery in wastewater treatment (MBR, SBR, ZLD) and sharp commercial acumen. You will own the project lifecycle from the initial Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) to final handover, ensuring systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the execution of STP/ETP/WTP projects. Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and risk assessments.
- Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on guidance for advanced processes including ASP, MBBR, MBR, SBR, UF, RO, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD).
- EPC Coordination: Act as the vital link between Site operations and Head Office (HO). Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, and Construction teams to hit milestones.
- Schedule Recovery: Identify "Critical Path" delays early. You must be an expert at developing and driving catch-up plans to maintain EPC timelines.
- Commercial Growth: Manage project invoicing and collections.
Support the Sales team with site audits and identify upsell opportunities (AMCs, upgrades) within existing accounts.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure 100% compliance with EHS standards, including Permit to Work (PTW) and environmental regulations.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain proactive communication with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years in EPC Project Execution (specifically in Water/Wastewater treatment).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of biological and membrane-based treatment technologies.
- Software: Proficiency in project monitoring tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage cross-functional teams under pressure.
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
